Almira Community Church has been assisting with Babu Rongphar’s support since September 2008. Babu is single. He was born in 1989 into a Hindu family. Babu worshiped numerous gods and goddesses. After 10th grade he dropped out of school to help support his family. Babu pursued a life of pleasure and became addicted to alcohol.
Just when Babu began to long for something more meaningful in life, two evangelists visited the family home. Babu confessed his sin and received Jesus as his savior.
With a joy-filled heart, Babu began to grow spiritually. A burden for the lost led him to a GFA Bible School where he is training for the great harvest.
