Almira Community Church joined Mark’s support team in June 2010. He grew up attending Christian Life Center in Missoula, Montana. Mark graduated form Northwest University on 2004. He served as a Missionary Associate to Thailand in 2005, working among the urban poor.
In 2009, Mark obtained his M.A. in Theology from Fuller Seminary. Currently Mark is raising support and preparing to return to Thailand for his first 3-year term. Intending to be a career missionary, Mark will then continue as an AG missionary, serving in a cycle of 4-year terms.
Mark’s work will focus in the Bangkok slum communities developing house churches and training local pastors, leaders, and ministry students. Indigenous Church Principles are a vital part of this ministry, realizing that Thais witnessing to their own people proves to be most effective. Mark’s hope is to be in the field by the summer of 2011.
